Application of the Herpes Viral Inhibitor (HVI)

  • Remove the cap and put it on the base so that the grip is better. Replace cap over probes when you are done using the HVI.

  • Clean the afflicted area of the skin removing all lipstick, gloss, balm, lotions, oils, etc. Leave the area just a little moist and clean. It is important not to make the area wet, just a little moist. If the area is to wet both lights will come on when the red button is pushed and treatment will not occur. If this happens pat the skin with a cloth and try the HVI again. Clean probe with an alcohol wipe. Do not submerse the NBE in any liquid!

  • Press HVI probes on the skin across Cleaned afflicted area so that the probes are on opposite sides of a blister,Lesion or Pain spot, then push and release RED start-button on the side of the HVI, Lights will come on indicating the start of a treatment.

  • A timed wave flowing through the skin will accour, first one direction then the other. The length of time the light is on shows the time of the flow.

  • It is normal to feel a slight electrical tickle or a very mild shock-like sensation when the lights change.

  • One treatment takes about 20 seconds. It is normal to do several treatments on each blister each time you use the HVI. Typicaly on the hour for 8 Times a day. It is appropiate to use the HVI hourly if a blister has formed, or even half-hourly if early tingling or feeling of pressure indicating a possible blester is forming.

  • If both lights come on at the same time, the skin is too Wet, stopping the flow. Dry the skin slightly & Re-Apply the HVI.
